!!!WARNING - FINANCE DEPARTMENT IS A JOKE -

BEWARE!!! If I could give zero stars on the Finance Department, I would. Bought a Grand Cherokee L in October. Finance lady, Sybrina Moore, was VERY unprofessional. She even refused to provide electronic copies of the ENTIRE sales folder, upon request (we only got partial copies of documents; consumer protection law violation here). Missing documents include a non-secure POA for the purchase and another for the trade-in; only got the secure POA for the trade-in. Also missing was the first set of odometer forms (got the second set, though). And we were even cheated into buying an appearance protection contract without our consent. Then, she claimed that ALVIN (the title system here in Alabama) was down at the time, and we requested she email the title application to us. She took her sweet time, and we had to resort going back to the dealership in person the following Monday to sign the title application. I hope she gets fired. Salesman was nice and professional, though. However, we will NEVER buy from this dealership EVER again! If anyone here who is going to deal with the finance department reads this, beware! I really hope this dealership shuts down, or someone local buys them out. To elaborate what happened in the finance department, the finance lady did give us a USB with electronic copies of documents. While she was preparing the USB, I told her to select ALL documents that were listed on the computer screen. She did. Then, to my surprise, she started de-selecting certain documents. I told her not to do that, and then she rudely told me she was not allowed to provide copies of certain documents, even though they had our signatures on them. I figured out what was missing on the flash drive: a electronically signed Credit Application, the first set of Odometer forms (we signed two sets for both purchase and trade-in; that makes a total of 4; we were only provided copies of the second set), and non-secure POAs for both purchase and trade-in (we only got the secure version for the trade-in on the USB). After researching consumer protection laws, I’ve determined that this was a violation of the law, and I had filed an FTC complaint on this incident. I know for a fact that the other dealership I go to (C.A. Russell Ford) is more willing to provide copies of an entire sales jacket, whether paper or electronic, and are very honest and professional. So, to anyone buying a vehicle at Greenway…BEWARE! This dealership group (HQ’d in Orlando) are a bunch of CRIMINALS!

I have the worst experience with this place.

They took almost 3 weeks to repair minor issue on my 2022 Chrysler minivan and over charged me. First time they did do any repairs and next day I stuck middle of the road with same issue again. I don't think this place have any knowledge and repair experience. Do not trust this place and I also complaint to main Chrysler office for this location.

I have been going to this dealership for years!

I take my challenger, that I also bought from Chrysler, for any needs and the service techs always solve it and the sales people always make sure I don’t want to trade in or anything! It’s a great environment and they’re always on top to tell you updates and length of times for waiting so you’re comfortable either in the waiting area or your home. I was there last week and waited an hour or 2 and the staff was so great with my 1-year old and making me feel welcomed plus my car was fixed up perfectly. I’ve seen personally, service techs come and get the guests to update them on their vehicle so they know what’s going on each step of the way on every service. I was also shown this app to help pay what I owed in monthly installments and in today’s economy that is a lifesaver. You and your vehicle should want to be cared for properly by real everyday people and with that being said I recommend this shop/dealership all day long! :)

This place has been the worst experience I’ve ever had

with an auto service center and both on the sales side. My car was there 9 days before it even had a diagnosis ran on it! The 1st day it got there I was told that they ran a 253.00 diagnostic on it but couldn’t do anything without the key fob working and they think the chip had gone bad in the fob. But their key fobs for a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee were on back order so I was told that I (the customer) needed to call a lock smith up there to do a new fob so I did. Turns out it was not the key fob. The Jeep tech came outside with the lock smith and stood there with the locksmith while he ran a diagnostic test on my computer. The Jeep tech said he seen where it is showing that the ECN computer was bad and that they needed to order that. This point I had already paid 100.00 tow to there, 200.00 for the key fob, and been charged a diagnostic fee by Jeep 253.00 but Jeep never even pulled it into their shop. Now Jeep tells me I am looking at having to pay 1504.00 for the new ECN and labor & the part would be in the next day. Dylan also sends me to the sales side and I waste 4 hours of my day waiting on them to run my credit and tell me what they could give me for a trade in on my Jeep. At 4:00 I get told by the sales team that all the banks have closed for the day so I wouldn’t know anything. So I go back over to the service side and made sure Dylan ordered that part which he assured me would be in the very next afternoon. 2 days after this the part still had not shown up from their warehouse in Atlanta. I just kept getting the run around I believe because Dylan kept forgetting to order the part. In the mean time all this had been going on every time I called up to the dealership it would sometimes take me 1-3 hours worth of calling to get anyone on the phone. Or someone would answer and I would be out on hold for 30 mins or longer. So on the last day my car was here I stopped by there in person that afternoon after 3:00pm because no one had bothered to call me on this day either. 9 days laterThis is the first and only time I had seen my Jeep inside the shop there. Dylan tells me oh I was just about to call you. I have some good news and well not so good news but not bad either. He says he “himself” had a sick gut feeling that it was not the ECN part after all so with out asking me Dylan had another diagnostic test ran on it by their guy ( just to get more money out of me) turns out the part I had been waiting 3 days on to get there was not bad after all and 2 out of 3 scans all showed it is the starter. I am pretty sure that ECN part never made it there cause I was told that part had to be ordered from Jeep and go with my actual VIN number. However they were still charging me 1500.00 to fix my car. I already knew how much a starter was around so I knew then I was getting robbed. I asked Dylan 3 more times was he sure it was the starter and how was he so sure it was. I made some calls because I no longer had faith in the service center that they knew what they were doing or even being honest with me. I had it towed back to the first mechanic and went and bought a new starter for 281.00. Dylan refused to let my car be towed until I paid the 253.00 2nd diagnostic test he had ran without my permission. Jeep also let both of my windows down while it was inside of their shop. Today i am told by the new mechanic that Jeep let and left my windows down on both sides of my car and it got rained in all night long and everything was soaked. It was towed after hours. I had the new starter installed and guess what?! It’s not the starter. Only makes a clicking noise when the button is mashed. So Dylan was wrong yet again about what was wrong with my car. Now I’m having to pay another tow fee of 100.00 to have it towed to another place that can run diag On! After all of this I think Jeep needs to pay for all that has been spent! And fix my car for free! 9 days without my car and now have to g

Went to buy A new car, a new ram to be specific it was

met by Craig. He helped me find the right truck that I wanted and the manager Matthew was able to get me the best deal I’ve ever gotten on a new vehicle. I will return here for all of my service. The store is under new management and this team rocks! You definitely want to come see this for yourself! I even got a brand new TV along with my new truck!

What could have been an easy/simple deal turned into the

worlds WORST buying experience. Me and my dad were looking for a vehicle for my mom. This dealership had the EXACT vehicle that my father and I were in the process of purchasing in Florida. I called Greenway Dodge in Anniston to see if the vehicle was still available. I was told the vehicle was still available and would I like to come view it. I set an appointment for an hour after the call since we had to drive from Birmingham. Upon arrival Monique greeted us. She was VERY nice and showed us the vehicle. We talked a little bit more about the vehicle and how its CERTIFIED PREOWNED. We decided that this was the vehicle we wanted but there were some damages we wanted taken care of. They agreed on fixing all the damages. We went into the dealership and offered $1,000 less than what they were asking. The "GM" said yes to the deal and ran my dads credit. They came back with numbers a bit higher than what we wanted to pay monthly but we decided to just do it because the car was "CERTIFIED PREOWNED". We enter finance to sign paperwork. While we are going over things the finance lady starts trying to sell us a warranty. I brought it to her attention that we didn't need one because the vehicle was Certified PreOwned. She communicates to us that the vehicle was in fact not certified. I show her where on there website it showed it was. She calls Monique in her office to confirm that the vehicle was in fact a Certified PreOwned vehicle. The finance lady then calls the GM into her office where he looks at me and my father and tells us the vehicle is not certified because he discounted it $1000. This was NEVER stated to us when we were talking numbers. He then looks at us and says it looks like we dont have a deal..... I then reply "IT LOOKS LIKE WE DONT HAVE ONE" and we walk out. As we walk out he xxxxx the deal up and throws it in the trash. When we got into the parking lot we decided to look on there website again to verify the info, when we noticed the price had dropped to what we offered. The vehicle still showed to be CERTIFIED. I text Monique (sales lady) all of the info and explained why I was upset/confused. She tells me to wait until the following day to see exactly what was going on. September 1st comes (the following day) and I recieve a phone call that they will do the deal with the vehicle being certified. She apologized several times and understood our frustrations. I told her we would only do the deal if they cleaned everything and repaired all of the damages. She said all of that would be done. We get to the dealership a couple of hours later to sign paperwork and we notice nothing had been done to vehicle. Monique told us her GM said they cant fix anything until all of the paperwork is completed. We said ok understandable. We told her the vehicle still needed to be delivered as we were not able to take it home ourselves. She said ok, and that she would deliver it the next day after everything was fixed. All paper work gets signed and we leave. (Disclaimer: Monique and the Finance Lady were VERYYYYYYYYY apologetic) The GM said absolutely nothing to us the whole time we were in the dealership. The following day comes and we have heard nothing. It's around 2:00pm so i decide to reach out to see what's going on. I don't receive a text message until 5:40pm stating that I needed to call the dealership to see whats going on. Today is now September 4th and we still have no car!! Now I have to drive all the way back out there (an hour drive) for the 3rd time to get the vehicle. That's 6+ hours of my time WASTED. WHAT EXACTLY IS THE PROBLEM HERE! ILL NEVERRRRRRRRRR BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN. How can you have a GM in place that could careless about customer service/satisfaction. Customer service is definitely not there top priority at GREENWAY DODGE ANNISTON.

When you take your car to Greenway CDJR of Anniston ,

make sure you take pictures before and after, when you take it to maintenance or any kind of work. They are THIVES, They argue that they installed tires on my wife’s Jeep, rotors turned and brakes and thermostat change , brakes are rusted , rotors are eaten up in less that 1000 miles , when she confronted them, the technician disappeared and the lady doing the paperwork argued that they did, we let it go because they supposed to be the professionals, which they are not. The new manager ONLY two weeks into the new job , accused me of swapping the old tires with the new ones , when they charge me for a disposable fee. Does it make since that I will be spending another $2,439.04 to be exact. I asked him a couple of times to show me disposal tire serial numbers , he can’t provide that, why ? Everyone that knows me , the reputation I have , is not what this guy is saying. Guys don’t make the same mistake we did !! SHARE IT WITH YOUR LOVE ONES !! ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

They are CROOKS - Better take pictures before you let

them touch your car, Also when you arrived they will tell you that your car needs all kind of things , that your car has problems, they make commission out of what you pay out of your pocket. People get a second opinion . This place will still the little money you have , they are not professionals. Tina, William and service technicians are shady , they will steal your money. ‼️‼️Tell your family, friends to keep away from this place.‼️‼️

Complete crooks!

Lied to me told the Hyundai kona I purchased for 24, 000. Still had the Hyundai 100 thousand mile warranty. So I understood car 60 thou miles giving me 40 thou left. They told me the bank wouldn't approve the addotional 3thou for a service warranty with them but they were able to add 1,000. For a poly? Something spray and 1,000 gap insurance. I accepted the vehichle purchase only because the Hyundai warranty. Weeks later to find this vehichle is a not certified pre owned and the 10yr 100thou warrant is only for the original owner. They new this. Here's the real problem. You let me take a car off the lot and the bank had not approved the loan yet. So numbers could have been finagled to add the service warranty I needed you ajust the price and not upcharge me. This vrhicle was listed on their website for 23thou but they claimed they had to add a thousand because they had already put this clear coat on the car. Lies! Just an upcharge. If you take 1,000 off for gap insurance and 1,000 that upcharged you would have benn able to give me the number 1 thing I needed a service warranty. I guess you loose money if you did. Their mad at the review i gave on their website so they called me today aaking for a title to a trade. They gave 2thou for my trade. Why would you let me leave with your pre owned vehicle and no title for the trade. Make it make sense. They recorded me so they could come after me. My response was give me my car back and take this ragedy Hyundai you sold me without servicing. Your better off buying a car off the street. They wont even address the service warranty issue.

If I could give this dealership ZERO stars I would. Sucks

that I can’t, anyways let’s start with the fact that every “sales” price on their website is a lie. We were looking at a truck that was originally 28K but sales price said 23K and it actually ended up being 29K. One of the salesmen told me himself their website has a glitch and he doesn’t know why it does that but in order to see what sales you actually qualify your credit has to be checked but the sales price ends up being half or less than half of what’s actually there. So the price is supposedly the original price you see at the top in SMALL font. But this dealership the price was 1K more than what was there on the website in small font on top of the sales price being a lie!!! I’m used to dealing with Kia dealership where all of their prices you see online is what you get even if you see a rebate, it’s what you get! So when I saw their prices I called to confirm with a salesman who said yes come on in, in which we were anyways because they claimed something was wrong my partners van and offered us a 2K credit to use towards a new vehicle. He confirmed the situation we discussed which was to use that towards the price of a new vehicle as well as trade in my vehicle which brings NE, Again I’ve dealt with Kia which tells you any rebates will/can go towards any NE you have which helps your down payment be lower or none!. So we are thinking the 2K credit and Rebates would definitely compensate for the NE my car has. Well there’s no communication amongst everyone in the work place because who we spoke with wasn’t there and they had no idea what was going on. So we got passed that and moved on to their waiting game they play just to gather information.. he comes back about 3 times afterwards to show us a 29K truck quote with 4500 down and 12.99% APR and I was like what is this the price of?? He said if you scroll down and look at a tab that he couldn’t even find I’d see all the rebates that were applied and that I might not qualify for all. Anyways the salesman knew it was all some BS because he didn’t even come back to explain what was even going on someone else did for him! they ended up coming back with a quote of 38K no rebates no 2K credit they promised. No explanation of what was going on there. The paper on the truck said 26K as well, so they marked up the truck just to try to mark it down at it’s actual price saying I qualified for about 3K in rebates on a supposedly 29K truck when the paper on truck said 26K anyways. The whole experience was horrible! Go somewhere else

I bought a new car on Feb 5th. Prior to delivery i had

asked for my paperwork be sent so I could go over it before hand. Purchase cost, etc. I get a notifications l, they're on the way. I called and said hwy I needy paperwork! I was told they would send it right now, so sorry. In the same convo, Elizabeth said, I can look ot over when I get there. The dealership delivered the car. I was rushed to sign documents. When they left they didn't leave me a temp tag to drivers with. Meanwhile i still don't have copies of the papers I just signed. I let them know I didn't have a tag, they overnighted one. Still didnt have ANY papers at that point. I received an email with the paperwork finally like the next day. I was told I'd get hard copies in the mail. I called numerous times and was told they'd be sent. The week before my tags were set to expire I called 3 times was a dived they'd be overnighted they never were. Funky they over nightes them to the tag place with the check to pay for my tags. Check was over 1700. 00 short. I called and spoke with Jeff Burt who claims to want to know if a customer isn't happy per his email... He proceeded to tall me that one could be printed my papers off. Beside the point. I told him my tags are now expired and they didn't send enuf money for my tags. He told me he didnt know what to tell me about my tags being expired. He said they're out of temp tags so he wasn't sending me one and he would do some calculations. I called back the next day, he says he made a mistake and will send 1599.00. This is STILL not the complete amount needed per the clerks paper. I had her write it all out and I had sent it to him. He said it'd be there by that Friday. I called back again and talked to Jonathan Harris. He sent me a temp tag NDA. He also said he'd talk to jeff Burt that this has happened before. Finally he says that all they're sending is the 1599. 00. I adv that they hadn't even sent that yet bc it was the next week and jeff Burt had said it'd be here by the previous Friday. They mailed the check, It arrived. I am still in debt to pay for my tags that should've have been calculated into the purchase price! 253.80. My suggestion is DO NOT BUY FROM ANNISTON UNIVERSITY DODGE IN ALABAMA. They're crooks, they refuse to make their errors right and what should be a joyous occasion of a new car has been a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. I hope I can save some people the hassle I have had to endure.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUCKS

This is a great place to take your vehicle only if you DONT want them to repair it. The water pump broke on my car late last Friday afternoon and I stupidly had it towed to their service department. This was the first mistake I made. I was told the following Monday morning by Miranda that they only had one technician working because of the holiday (New Years Eve) and he would look at it Wednesday. I took her for her word. My second mistake. I told her I had an extended warranty and the water pump would be covered. Of course, she told me it probably wouldn't be covered and if it was that the fluids that would need to be refilled would not be covered. She is either uneducated or has a hard time telling the truth. I called Miranda at 4 on Wednesday afternoon to check on my car and she said they didn't get to it today (imagine that!). The technician would look at it tomorrow. Called Miranda at 145 on Thursday and the technician still had not looked at it. I told Miranda don't touch my car and a tow truck was on the way to get it and take it to a REAL Dodge service department . Finally, McSweeney Dodge repaired my car in one day (yes only one day) and all I had to pay was my deductible. Guess where I will be taking my car from now on? Yep, Matt at McSweeney's. Professional and honest...two qualities lacking at University Dodge.

NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!

I am not alone when it comes to contacting the Dealership owner. I have tried several times to get the New GM to call me back. He said he was going to talk to the owner several weeks ago and call me back. I have also called several times and left messages for Mr. Bert to return my calls. I am still in shock that they let my 23 old get a car that is 986.00 a month. Really??? He does not make that kind of money. My point is they LIED!!!!!! They try to make it right and put him in a 43,000 truck and said I would have to sign with him... I said NO!!! you let him sign for a loan of with no proof of income for 72,000 plus took his other car. They knew they were in the wrong from the beginning. The Salesman is no longer there and all he could say is go to a credit union and refinance. How do you refinance when no bank or credit union will lend a 23 old 60,000.... HE DOES NOT MAKE THAT KIND OF MONEY!!! PLEASE Mr. Owner can you contact me

Terrible service my trucks been there for 3 months

I have had off and on trouble with the truck, but back in may I had a throttle control code come up. They told me that it needed a new motor, ( I didn't think so) another month and a half went by. Then said that it needed a new transmission, another month went by. I finally got with Chrysler directly and come to find out that they never put a motor or transmission in the truck. Currently the truck is still there at the dealership. I call and can never get anybody on the phone. I was put on hold for 58 mins before I gave up. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, maybe lawyer time.

Unable to get answer relating to tag and titile,

I purchased a 2018 Grand Cherokee. To this day after payment cleared the bank and completed, I have not been able to get a tag which is due within 30 days or received a title which I should have within 15 days according to the paper work provided to me. After phone calls to University and trips to tag office I am still waiting.

Check Engine Light

I stopped by to see service due to a check engine light being on. Jason was there to help as soon as I pulled up. He Immediately remembered my last name, and remembered my husband coming to have our vehicle examined 6 months prior. Jason was quick and determined to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. Thank you Jason for all of your help.

"Being Patient"

My husband Jeffery was in search of a Dodge Ram 1500 used. He researched and looked for awhile. His background in the knowledge of automobiles helped him in all decisions. I respect every man in his craft, but know that we would not be moved by man's wisdom but by God. Craig Graham was our salesman and he honored my husbands wishes. We found Craig to be a kind gentleman, knowledgeable, with a pleasant demeanor. After getting all paperwork corrected (spellings/address accurate) we came back the following day to make the purchase. We thank Craig for seeing it through, and would recommend him as a salesman.

Liars liars liars

My husband who is a cancer survivor was sold a 2011 Jeep Wrangler. The vehicle was from Michigan or Canada we found out when we began having a problem with it. Underneath the vehicle is rusted out. WE WERE NOT TOLD OF THIS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!! THEY WILL LIE TO MAKE A SALE. THE SALESPERSON WAS NAMED JUDGE AND HE CLAIMS TO BE A PREACHER. SAD TO KNOW. THIS DEALERSHIP NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR THEIR SALES PRACTICES. THE SALES MANAGER HUNG UP ON ME AND WOULD NOT DISCUSS IT. NEVER WILL THIS DEALERSHIP GET ANY OF OUR BUSINESS AND I HOPE YOUR BUSINESS TOO!!! Well... tried to talk to the sales manager.... the one who said all buyers are liars.... well looks like Mr. Sales. Manager is a liar himself... tsk tsk... shame on you Jason Pettus for giving me your name as Jason Boatman.

Horrible Customer Service

Purchased a vehicle August 7 dealership did not send information (tag and selling info so I could get my tag) to the DMV until 60 days later so I was not able to drive my vehicle for 30 days. Because I could not get my tag because they would not send the information to the DMV. Horrible customer service would not replace the missing headlight bulb when I purchased the vehicle. Called several times to get information sent over to DMV left messages numerous amount of times nobody would call me back. Beware of this dealership did under the table deal that’s why they did not have the title on hand and couldn’t produce it within the 30 days of allotted time they are allowed. Sales manager signed me up for platinum warranty was not told they were different levels of Warranty signed me up for the most expensive warranty without my knowledge did not go over the differences between the warranties did not tell me how the warranty worked. Also pulled my credit with out my knowledge when I was already pre approved by my credit union. Just an all-around bad experience!

Soldier home on leave

Jason and his team took very good care of my family and I. While home on leave I managed to snap a front axel on my rebel. I was concerned because the truck was under warranty, but had not used this dealership before. The whole team went out of their way to get me back on the road. Great experience and great team!

Transmission repair on 2013 Town & Country

My wife and I were visiting our son and his family in Jacksonville, AL, just a few miles north of Anniston back on July 22, 2017 weekend. However, our van (we've owned it only 1 year) began having great difficulty shifting and would have great problems climbing an incline (and there are PLENTY of mountainous inclines in this part of Alabama). As we planned to drive out of town on Monday, July 24, the service engine light came on, so we decided to check in with the closest dealer and see if we could get a diagnosis. We drove the 15 or so miles to University Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram in Anniston, AL and pulled in to the service bay. Immediately, two service technicians came to see what was going on. After less than 15 minutes of explaining what was happening, plus their calling in the transmission specialist, they had the problem diagnosed (the transmission guy pointed out that we had a light film of automatic transmission fluid sprayed on the rear hatch window, indicating that we had had a lead and the highway driving had blown that stuff back). The main service technician who handled our case was Mr. Jason Boatman. He told us, in concert with the transmission specialist) that they could fix it, but we would have to leave the vehicle. Our problem is that we live 200+ miles West in Tupelo, MS. Plus, I had big meetings coming up during the next couple of days and my supply of diabetes medicine was insufficient for an in-town stay. Thus, we had to leave the car and figure how to get home. Jason and his team arranged for us to rent a car through Enterprise, which was less than 1 mile down the street from them. The dealership arranged a discount for our rental. We drove back home to Mississippi. On a regular basis, for the next three weeks, Jason Boatman called me to give me updates on the repair. Then, on Saturday, August 19, he called to say that the van is ready. We drove, in another rental car, to Anniston just before the dealership closed and we picked up the van. My wife drove the van from the dealership to our son's house in Jacksonville, She commented that she thinks the car drives better than it has since we've owned it. I can't say enough positive about how we were treated by University Chrysler, but MAINLY by Mr. Jason Boatman in the service department. We will definitely be recommending this dealership to our friends -- for sales, service, or just to watch for how customer relations should best be handled. --Dr.Larry S.Anderson National Center for Technology Planning Tupelo, MS (birthplace of Elvis)

Extremely Poor Service Department

My 2014 Jeep "Grand" Cherokee began having major engine troubles with just over 100,000 miles. I took it to the dealership in Anniston because it was only 1,000 outside of my warranty. Dealers will typically give exceptions if your car is just outside the warranty. Univ Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Anniston said the repairs would cost $1,800 for a right cylinder repair. I had to fight to get the dealership to open a case and consider an exception to cover the repairs since it was just outside my warranty. They eventually would do so but it took 3 weeks to get my vehicle back. Each day I called to check on it Jason Boatman would seem to be giving me the run around saying the mechanic found some "hiccups" but would not be specific as to what the problems were. I was a mechanic in the military and I can say with 100% certainty that "hiccups" is not an industry term that should be used with a costumer. Mr. Boatman then could not locate my key when picking up the vehicle. When my vehicle was returned the car was still not running properly. I reported this to the dealership. They took it back and said they could find nothing wrong. I got the vehicle back a second time and noticed the problem was worse as it seemed to sputter and almost stall out on me. I attempted to contact the corporate office to report the problems and was ignored. I had a different mechanic inspect and test drive my car and I discovered the real problem. Let's just say JEEP has lost a lifetime faithful costumer of over 15 years.
