This dealership service department at Peruzzi is
terrible. Bought a CPO CX5 with warranty in the spring, and GPS unit failed to function in cold weather once fall hit. Not being much of a car person, I took the car in to Peruzzi service, explained the cold weather issue, and checked to see if they could validate the SD card and possibly update it for me since I was unable to do so via the Mazda utility. They told me they didn't have the ability to look at the card even though the car was under warranty, and offered no suggestions or alternatives. I asked again recently when visiting for a second factory recall service (the first they had managed to schedule and have me drive 45 minutes and show up for despite not even having parts to do the recall repair, a 3 hour waste of my time and workday) and the lazy service department staff gave me the exact same hands-off zero effort blow-off. Turns out I did get free help from an anonymous user on a random Mazda bulletin board - there was a Mazda service bulletin specifically addressing the problem, calling out the exact lot number of my SD card and saying it would cause navigation to fail in cold weather! So had the Peruzzi service team actually lifted a finger and provided service when called upon to do so, my hardware would have been covered under warranty. Because they did not, the replacement SD card is $399.00. I spoke with the service department manager Travis today and he told me he would give me a 10% discount on a replacement - no apology, no inquiry as to how my service visits went down, no nothing. Just his lame attempt to monetize on his service departments incompetence. This place has zero accountability whatsoever so a word to the wise, take your Mazda business elsewhere. Once Perruzi sells you your car, they don't seem to care about customer service and are brazen about it.
