We had a hydrolock happen on our Ford F-150. We had Route 66 insurance on it and Ford accepts that so we took it there for an engine replacement. A used engine from them with no warranty was $8000. The insurance only covered $5000, so we had to pay $3000 out of pocket. They couldn't even tell us how many miles were on it and they didn't even change the oil on the replacement engine and there's a terrible noise in the engine now. When we changed the oil, there were metal flakes in the oil. We had it diagnosed at a different shop and they say we need a new engine! We hadn't even driven 200 miles on the one Ford installed. Their agent Garrett was a fast-talker who wouldn't answer his phone, return calls or give us updates while the work was being done. They had the truck for 2 months and we paid a big chunk of money for nothing. Never going back there again.
