I know other new cars (Mazdas) do not do this with a factory installed automatice car starter. Also, if this problem was known as a "factory" install defect, why didn't the service department know this and tell me before I brought it in. I do not believe that Mazda, the corporation, would be satisfied with such a disfunctional automatic starter. The service department gave me Mazda's number to call. I really felt that this was something they should have pursued, since I bought the car from them.
