Lee's Summit Subaru

We did a test drive at Lees Summit Subaru. Afterwards, we recieved lits of spam emails from the sales department. One, of which, advertised that they would beat any competitors price by $500, if they had the vehicle in stock. I checked thier online inventory, and confirmed that they did have the car in stock. I contacted Daniel via email, and asked him if they would honor the offer they advertised in the ad. He responded"absolutely". I was contacted by Beth the next morning, who verbally confirmed the deal and asked when I could come in. I was not in town, so I set an appointment for the following Friday. During the time between my correspondence with Lees Summit Subaru, and my appointment, the matching car fron thier online inventory was removed. I arrived at the time of my appointment. I had to get another emoloyee to find Daniel. Daniel did not have any paperwork prepaired. He then went to his sales manager, and came back with the EXACT offer I asked him to beat, and even had the audacity to tell me the $500 off the quote was applied. When I pointed out to hin it was not, he acted surprised and went back to his sales manager. Daniel then informed us they could not honor the verbal agreement because the car was not in stock. I got up and left. One week later I was contacted by Paul, the internet sales rep, and was asked how the numbers looked on the price they had offered. I informed him of what happened, that we had purchased a Subaru fron someone else, and that I would be posting my feedback on the internet.
