"Your payment will only be $250 per month for 6 years... add the maintenance package and you won't even notice the extra cost over 72 months... less than a few trips to Starbucks." "We have to charge you for the nitrogen in your tires, it's much better than air." I worked for a car dealer several years ago, quit after two weeks, the tactics were disgusting. Not saying they're all like that, but.... Austin Subaru is nothing like what you might expect from a stereotypical car dealer. I found a car that I really liked, and decided to give it a shot. Met with Steve Carter, no hassle, no pressure, I knew the price was fair when I walked in, he did even better than that, and everything was communicated up front, no hidden agendas. Paperwork was a breeze, vehicle was spotless when I teste drove, and they washed it again when I went back to buy it. Awesome dealership... comfortable, easy going place. Whole process from start to finish was so smooth, my faith was restored. At least here... I'll be returning when it's time to buy another.
