this was one of several dealerships we went to over a couple week period. This was the worst experience of all of them. I want to stress that the lady that helped find cars for us there was nice and helpful and not part of the issue. We looked at a preowned 2022 Kia Sportage (pics attached) which was very promising for our buying conditions. Test driving it we found the AC didn't work at all, this wasn't disclosed beforehand. Afterwards back in the office I asked for the incident report and found it had two prior incidents, One in the side and one in the front, and that AC work had been done just a few weeks earlier. That's to be expected for some preowned, so not a big deal. The issue is that they were fully prepared to sell me a car without telling me about the non-working AC. I spoke with the manager and he said they already knew about the non-working AC and "had plans" to fix it. So why were they still selling it in that condition without disclosure! The lady helping me didn't know about the AC, she would have sold it to me if I hadn't found the issue. AC is a basic function and a car should not be out on a dealership lot without it working, and especially without disclosing it before buying. Absolute scummy tactics at this place. We left right after and ended up buying a car the same day having a wonderful experience at another dealership in Charlotte.
