Ford (CLF) Team. We’ve been repeat customers for many years. During our most recent purchase we bought two vehicles. The General Sales Manager Landyn Trammell was phenomenal in helping our sales person put two deals together for us! Over the years, we have referred several people to CLF to get help from our Sales Associate Bryce Dewberry. He is one of the most helpful sales person’s we’ve ever dealt with. Not only is he very knowledgeable of CLF products; from Trucks, SUV’s, Cars, Hybrids & Electric Vehicles, he’s also helpful in recommending the best fit extended warranties for individual needs. What sets Bryce apart from other sales people is he’s always a person of integrity & honesty when dealing with customers. His commitment and loyalty to the CLF Team is hands down, the most reputable in the industry! We highly recommend him for your vehicle buying needs. The sales buying process runs smoothly. We’d also like to send a huge thank you out to our Finance Manager Brett Pelleschi. He worked tirelessly to ensure both contracts were written appropriately. He made us feel at ease, answering any questions we may have had. Racheal L.
Both services were preformed perfectly. All the service writers were helpful and professional. I will definitely be back!

Test drove a Maverick XLT and was given a price. Started paperwork. Half way through, we were told they couldn't sell any Maverick XLT's, because there were all kinds of recalls on them. Was then shown a Maverick Lobo and was told they could sell us that one for the same price. Sat waiting for finance to call us to sign the paperwork forever, so that by the time they called us back, we just signed where they pointed and left for home. Then they called the next day and said they had to come switch vehicles with us, because the VIN on my paperwork was for a different vehicle. But don't worry, it's the same exact vehicle. Except it wasn't! and if I wanted to keep it the one we drove home, I had to pay another $5,000. Fine, kept the lesser vehicle they brought. Then look more closely at the paperwork and find that they charged us several thousand more for the Lobo after they said they would honor the first price they quoted us. And part of the paperwork they gave us was in someone else's name. What a rip off! Will never do business with them again!

professionalism at Crater Lake Mazda, Ford and Lincoln Service Center.
He was very informative and communicated well on the expectations while my vehicle was being serviced.

as our Mustang Mach E was not communicating with the Ford APP. What a well-oiled machine this Service Department is We actually live closer to another Ford dealer/service department which has proven to us to be quite inferior. So glad we traveled the distance because Crater Lake Ford fixed the same problem which took the other dealer weeks to fix and then the problem ultimately resurfaced. Love that Crater Lake offered us a comparable rental car. They were so professional and efficient. Every staff member was helpful and courteous. They handled a lot of customers with ease and quickly. So relieved to have found a reliable Ford service dealer.

service Department has been great. Megan in the service department is a great person to deal with, very efficient, kind, polite and does her job well. The guys doing the service get it done promptly, and the video they do now is great

It was my first time having my Maverick serviced for an oil change. Everyone is professional and I would recommend them for a new truck/car or other.
— Wally
She was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was friendly as I waited.
His level of communication and service was exceptional. I will refer him to everyone.

Repair/maintenance has been ok but do not like the new automated system. It is confusing and seems to get stuff wrong. Please work on those bugs!!
tires with my oil change..
Also, Megan in service was fantastic. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

at. They only recommended services that I know my car needs and are the only people I trust picking up and dropping my car off. It’s truly a pleasure working with them.
The work is done in a timely fashion, which I really appreciate
It has a squeak in the drive train

Was in and out in less than 2 hours. Drove off with the truck I’ve been looking for, for months

Buchanan helped me, is pleasant, understanding, calm, patient, keeps me updated on details.
Thank you so much. I highly recommend talking to Michael if you are looking for a new car or truck he is very polite and knowledgeable about cars and trucks on the lot or even special orders. We ordered a truck and Michael was our representative. He was great at getting us what we wanted and didn’t try to pressure us into buying something that was on the lot already. He goes the extra distance to make sure his customers feel taken care of more like a friend than a car salesman.
— waltmg86
Buchanan aims to please always, as do all staff, very timely work, updates the customer often, staff work quickly and very hard even when understaffed, are friendly, patient and understanding, very pleased again. I always bring my vehicle to Crater Lake Ford Service. I trust the staff to keep my vehicle in safe operating order. I purchased my CPO Ford Edge SEL AWD SUV in 2013 and continue to bring it here for servicing, repairs, advice. I depend on service department staff to keep my vehicle in safe running condition and continue to not hesitate to recommend this service department to everyone. Thankful for all staff. I appreciate them for working and caring.
professional and my service advisor Meghan ALWAYS greets with a smile and knows exactly how to deal with whatever issues I have had. I highly recommend this company and their staff. I've always been very satisfied with their care and services.
used 2024 Subaru that we bought from them, also the car had more miles on it then stated on DMV paperwork. Crater Lake Ford did correct the DMV paperwork after we pointed out this would effect the Blue Advantage Warranty and it's illegal. No call back, regarding the fob replacement management said they are working on it, and salesman will arrange and call back with details regarding fob replacement, we're still waiting one month later.

didn’t want to buy anything because I didn’t want to hit double digits meaning I didn’t want a 10th vehicle and feel like they took advantage of me because I had just lost my wife of 38yrs a month earlier and still grieving and when I asked for the window sticker what they sent was $8000 less than what they managed to take me for and believe if this had been 2 or 3 months earlier my wife would have still been alive and they wouldn’t have been able to both pressure and rip me off to the tune of an extra $8000 over the sticker price needless to say it’s now been long enough sense her passing that I know it’ll never happen again and shouldn’t have happened and although I did buy a truck there back 2011 that was also before they were bought out by Lithia and there pressure techniques and can honestly say I’ll never buy another vehicle again there or any other Lithia or Lithia disguised under another name or allow myself to be taken advantage of again by crooks like them
and the sell junk. Drove the truck less than a week and it broke down and they won’t fix it! Pic in comments of truck being towed with the Crater Lake License plate less than a week after I purchased it. It is still in the shop since Oct 29 I drove the truck off their lot earlier that week of October. It couldn’t even make it to its first oil change!! It is covered under their warranty… but they apparently don’t care that I’m out a vehicle and will get to it when they feel like it on month 5 without my vehicle!
most interested in charged (plug in SUV) and ready for us to try out within a couple minutes of our arrival. Very knowledgeable about the car and its features and could answer all our questions. Ultimately, we were able to come up with a good cash price included extended service and warranty
because of a staff shortage. I said sure, it's Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. I arrive at 11:15, leave at 1:45 for an oil change. I had requested my front tires be rotated to the rear, the rear tires rotated to the front. The Gal at the service counter told me this is "normally" how they rotate the tires. I gave that a little thought and said, uh oh, because they didn't rotate this way last time.... She went to lunch, so I found John and asked again my tires be rotated back to front, front to back because of the wear on my front tires. He said he would tell the mechanic. I mark my tires because Butler Ford in Ashland, where I purchased the vehicle didn't rotate my tires and tried to charge me? I brought the service manager out, showed him how I mark the tires and told him the mechanic did not rotate my tires. I did the same with the Gal at Crater Lake, so I wasn't charged for the rotation. The mechanic wrote "more tread on rear tires" and didn't rotate any tires. As a bonus, the mechanic smeared the dead bugs on my windshield all over, so it's actually worse? I trust the mechanics read these reviews as a point of pride for a good laugh. After reading several other reviews I see nothing changes.
routine service (oil change) appointment on 7/20/23. A manger did respond to my post to get my business back, but since that service I found some additional factors. During this service my tires were rotated. According to the manufactures door sticker my front tires and rear tires require a different PSI. The tires were switched front to back but the psi was not changed. I also pull a 40ft Fifth Wheel & I always check the torque on my tires before towing. My truck tires were not set to the manufactures recommended torque and I found that one of the lug nuts on a tire was damaged to the point that the outer casing will most likely need to be forcibly removed to get to the actual lug nut. This will probably mean having to replace the entire lug nut. Now it is too late to go back and give Crater Lake Ford a chance to fix the lug nut. I travel the US in my RV and this was my first and only contact with Crater Lake. I take my F350 to a Ford dealership in hopes that they will service according to the manufactures recommended specifications. I also had the belief that the service department would have checked the psi in the tires, tightened the lug nuts to the recommended torque, and if you damage something like a lug nut, it should have been replaced. The tech should have known because I was unable to get my socket to fit onto the lug nut. I'm sure not all the service techs will do work like this, but I don't think I'd give Crater Lake Ford a chance to give me that particular tech to damage something else on my truck that I will have to fix.
dealership service i have ever experienced. They never answer the phone; they do not return your call; they don't know what they are doing when they diagnose your car's problems, especially if it regards the sensors and computerized features. They cannot even diagnose a rear-end noise, to try to fix it. They told me it was the wind. I have a so-called lifetime oil change program. I will never return to that Lithia dealer for any purpose, including an oil change...NEVER!!
During the test drive noted that the backup sensors were beeping and the alert was popping up when there was nothing behind the car. Salesman noted that they would take care of whatever the issue was and it was still under manufacturer warranty as the car only had 7000 miles. They couldn't get me in for 2 months and when they did they said I had to take it to Lithia VW since it would be covered under warranty. Took it to Lithia and they found that the car had been rear ended previous to me buying it and the rear sensors were replaced with non-OEM parts so it is not covered under warranty. Left 7 different messages for the Sales Manager and Service Manager at Crater Lake Ford and have received no calls back. Now I am stuck paying $800 out of pocket.
— Jortiz
They won't take your calls. They don't let you know what is going on with your vehicle. John Oppy one of the service advisors is a liar and you can't trust what comes out of his mouth. This happened to me the last three times I came in. Three times in a row is just totally bad service. Every time I leave there I'm pissed of due to there service department. Manager doesn't know how to run it.
— bigrt
failure. I dealt with Trevor S. at the beginning and he was fine at the start! I was later told the transmission needed to be replaced also and I okayed that repair. On 3 July 2023 I received a call from a different service writer named Megan and was informed of some issues with replacement parts and that my Expedition should be ready later that week, it wasn't! My calls and voicemails were not returned! Finally Megan called to inform me my vehicle was ready for pick-up. After paying $14,746.99 for repairs my vehicle was returned filthy inside and out and missing the right front wheel lug-nut cover and you guessed it no response to voicemail left upon discovery of missing lug-nut cover! Extremely poor communication with service writers due to overall care about customers especially after you pay your bill in full!!!

pleasantly to answer questions and work out the deal I wanted. He and the rest if the staff I worked with did a great job
ADVISOR'S JOHN OPPY WAS THE BEST PERSON HE DID AS HE SAID GOT MY TRUCK LIKE HE SAID IT WAS GREAT NO BETTER PLACE AROUND THANK JOHN D
7-3-2023. Has not responded. He also gave me inaccurate info for tire rebate last June and I was unable to receive rebate on purchase of 4 tires. Will not be back for any service.
Was awesome to work with. Along with the rest of the team. It was fast friendly and full of good vibes. Thank you J.T and crater lake ford.
Bought a new Lightning last December and six months later DMV still does not have the VIN on file. They took the money but didn’t transfer the title - sounds like car theft to me…

First car was brand new. Was great til I had them update the radio. They broke the gps then wanted to charge me to fix it. Told me it needed 300 dollars in parts but luckily they accidentally plugged back in the wire they forgot to connect diagnosing it and magically fixed it. This last car a 2012 explorer. I traded them my 2021 TOYOTA SIENNA in mint condition. The blue book trade in was upper 40's because you can't get them right now. That seems high to me but I figure on trade they'll give me a good deal on an older car. We got a new explorer and the mini van was redundant and expensive. So I traded down to a nice looking older explorer. I asked them to just trade straight accross as what I owed on the van and what they were asking for the explorer pretty much evened out. They were asking above blue book by a good 1500 again but this was exactly what I was looking for. I had my kids with me and it took them 4 hours to do the paperwork. My baby was crying and there was literally no other customers that day. They say they need to do an inspection and detail the car. I mentioned the brakes look worn and there is a facia in the front that needs fixed. They say they will do it. There was also a huge chip in the window they said they would fix. Ok I'll come back in a week.. They call a few days later wanting to take my van and give me the car. All checked out it's perfect. I take it home and promptly take it to les Schwab to check the brakes. The brakes are within tolerance but less than 25%.. ok I'll do that next year. But the battery is shot. I used to be a mechanic so I have tools. I check the battery and they are right it's at about 1/2 cranking amps. Ok I'll replace it. Pulled out the rotted original battery from 2012 and put in a new one. Go to the store the next day with the radio off and hear a clanking sound in the front end. Never noticed it with the radio on it only happens going from one side to the other. Sounds like something is worn.. Ok I'll need to fix that. Get up the next morning to take my kid to school and cold this thing shifts like your driving a manual and holding in the clutch to long. Sticking valves in the tranny I'll need to fix that.. ok that's what happens when you buy a used car even at 2k above blue book... Here's the kicker.. Rains.. rains hard.. go out to the car in the morning and the rear seats are soaking wet. Check the sunroof and clean the drains.. check the roof and there are cracks all along the channels that drain the water off the roof. Check the channels all the way to the back and there are cracks and missing paint along the rear hatch. Never seen such a thing so I research and it is a not uncommon problem with this year explorer. The sealant they put on the welds comes up and leaks. So now I call a body shop and it's going to be $2500 to fix the roof. I call Crater lake to see if they will make things right. I even offer to trade back the car for purchase price towards a brand new car. This way they can spread the loss out over a lot of margin they sit on. I always pay over full price so I figure they can eat some loss on selling me a lemon to keep a loyal customer. NOPE. They are trying to figure out how to give me less than full price.. fix the car and sell it again. I mean these guys took my van and sold it in the lythia in California for a 5 thousand dollar profit. These guys will pinch literally every penny to make money. 100 dollar battery... car still turns over.. not our problem. Even after overcharging me on the used car and underpaying me on the trade they wanted another $1000 dollars. I wanted to pay with a credit card.. they said only if I pay the 30 dollar fee on a thousand dollars. Like really you won't take credit cards now. It was even a ford credit card. They didn't even try to fix the facia I told them needed replaced. Even with the brand new car this company was sketchy. Buyer beware
Crater Lake Ford. Made a reservation to order a new Bronco April 2021, placed order Oct 2021 with cash deposit down. I have had nothing but hassle and headache with them over the last 2 years. Although, I made an inquiry about their cancelation procedure, I never canceled my order. In fact I was told that I would get a call when it was delivered for me to come in and make my final purchase/decision. I even received an email email in 1/2023 notifying me with photos of my personalized Bronco coming off the manufacturing line. I went into the dealership today for an update, to be told that they sold it to someone else 2/14/23. Jake at Crater Lake Ford, told me that he called me when it was delivered, but didn't leave a message. He stated "That's my bad." Absolutely disgusting. They didn't even offer to refund my money. I had to ask, then was told I could get it, but that I would have to wait for approval. I will never give Ford another dollar or moment of my time. I will forever deter anyone from ever doing business with Ford. One bad business experience has the potential to destroy an entire company. Jake at Crater Lake Ford gives Ford a bad name.
He went out of his way to take care of us and make sure we were updated. He was very patient and understanding with our questions. His service was excellent! I greatly appreciated his devotion
My truck has been at the service department since the end of November. It's January 28th. They had to fix the turbo. It took them over a week to diagnose it. Over a month to actually fix it. We drove it home and the check engine light turned back on saying it was a turbo problem again. We took the truck back... Once again a WEEK to diagnose and figure out what parts to order. I can't get David to return ANY of my phone calls... I've called every week to get an update and he will not answer me. I use this truck for my business and I've had to reschedule jobs for 2 months because they can't do their job at the service department!!! Horrible service!

Everything worked out great. When it was delivered Bryce Dewberry called and set up time for me to come see the car and we scheduled an appointment to take delivery. Bryce and the whole staff was great help and made it a nice experience. On arriving the car was clean and ready for us. With Bryces and Ian Graves assistants we got through all the paper work.
