non-functioning Rear Liftgate. Was told both motors and pistons for liftgate needed replacement plus time: $2,700. We passed. Jump ahead 3 weeks, someone minor rear-ended the car… brought it to auto body shop.. when we got the car back the liftgate was working properly… I asked how that happened. The answer was: they noticed the gate was not working so they reset a code… no charge…… I would think if you are a certified Nissan Mechanic… checking the code would be the first thing you’d do, if you weren’t dishonest
