Went in for simple front brake pads replace/rotors machined. 5 minutes after I checked in I observed vehicle driven away off property and watched service bays for my vehicle from back lot area. My vehicle was never in any of the service bays and was returned to front parking area. Asked service advisor (Ryan) where they took my vehicle and he said all repairs are done on site.I observed service bays while waiting and my vehicle was never inside any of them. Wonder how many other repairs are being farmed out. Asked about whether Toyota brake pads were used and he checked part # and said they were Carquest pads. Told him reason I go to dealership was for Toyota techs AND parts. Most Toyota dealerships are proud of and tout their use of genuine Toyota parts. Apparently I got neither. Also told him that the engine check light was on, he said the tech,since he was the brake/ suspension guy, WOULD NOT HAVE PAID ANY ATTENTION TO IT. Unbelievable. DO NOT TRUST HELLMAN SERVICE. I believe a dealership is only as good as its' service dept. Who knows where they took my car or even if repair was done.
