Put 5K down . Yes used 2011 but less then 80k on it. . Ask about the ticking in the wheels, was told well its a used car . Looked at the car closely when we got home . Wow , Wheels weight fell off in the covers no tool marks not crimped on . Had car 5 days and the tire blew off the rim sitting in my driveway (09/07). All on home camera . No one even home or near it . Big circus when I called Budd: told I had to use MY roadside to get it back to them to put new tire back on OR >>>>Told put spare on and drive it back . Really how safe is that ? One tire blew off rim what about the other three they put on- had no confidence in that . I had to arrange towing 09/08 to the dealer. Then had to arrange bf to drive me to dealer to pick it up that Saturday( had to call Friday to see if it was done they never even called me ). Found out the tires were not spun-or-balanced (STILL) told didn't have time ! Picking it up took over 45 minutes . The girl was so annoyed she said well take it and have them balanced at your guy and we will reimburse you . WTH BF said I want that in writing. She was huffing but she did write it out . Now we will see if they actually reimburse. Also overcharged for the warranty by 600$ and recovr it tracker for 369( they refunded that they said it was free. Sue sneaked in a couple things - too excited for sons first car and she folded the agreement and enveloped it didn't go over it - that's my fault I should have insisted , But hey it was labor day weekend and they wanted to go home ! Screwed the dumb happy mom . but I still have questions on warranty (quoted 2300 and they charged 2900)and cant get anyone to help. Said they washed it - didn't . Not swept . Said it was clean , it wasn't. (peanuts under seat and dog bone in console, dash not even wiped) Found under the hood :Coolant hose instead of getting the correct part they "made" one . clamps and zip ties all nice new and shiny). They broke the nipple off the reservoir tank. Started dripping when I picked it up from tire replacement debacle so I had to buy that too. What a circus -they should feel lucky(VERY LUCKY) that> that tire didn't blow off the rim while driving it home from the dealership on 70 and someone, (me or my teen son ) got hurt or killed . I shudder to think of it ! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND Budd Baer to anyone . Their service is the worst and this car was unsafe to sell . The tire fell off holy smokes . The service sheet also says they changed brakes and rotors - I fully intend to have those checked as well - HAVE NO CONFIDENCE in this DEALERSHIP AT ALL !!!!!!! Go else where ! They suckered me in the fiance office 758 & 854 credit score(s) and she added an extra 1.05% in too. ( on top of the questionable 600 extra for warranty and the 369 for the tracker) son is 17 and he paid the money down , we financed the remainder for him . From start to today - Budd Bear has totally ruined my sons first vehicle purchase .
