He was so friendly and thorough and taught me so much about the Nissan SUV I was looking at and even a lot about the car purchasing process. He was very honest in this industry where you don't know who to trust. In the end, I found a car with a few more features at another dealership and decided to pursue that car. But I knew I had to write this review because I appreciated everything he did for me and this process.

bad they would replace all four.The sales manager Jay will say anything for a sale and apparently the above bosses will back him.They put newer ones from another car but not brand new.They told me they wanted me to be happy because they are a family business but did absolutely nothing: . .Buyer beware not a dealership of their word. Bad Business Practice. All I asked was to keep your word . Oh ya a sent the recorded msg saying what I was told . But the cost of tires is worth the loss of a customer.I guess once they get the sale they move on, your not important anymore.

I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. While the staff is exceptionally nice and attentive, the used vehicle I purchased from them was the opposite. I test drove it in the cold so when I tested the AC out, it appeared to work. Spent $1,000 on an entire new AC unit, the tires were rotting from the inside which I was unaware of when I drove the car off the lot…new tires around $800. A horrendous squealing noise started about the first 2 months of purchase. They told me my warranty was only 30 days worth and I had to pay full price for any work. Well after they told me the routers and brakes were cheap and not the correct kind for the car I had to fork out another $800 ($400/each router-new break). When I drove this car off the lot George Hart Nissan made it appear like an awesome deal. This vehicle has cost me nothing but money since I bought it. I am extremely disappointed and I hope no one else experiences the same as I did.

an appointment and drove 45 miles to the dealership. I had documentation on MSRP before I went and had provided the salesman - in advance - with a copy. When my wife and I arrived the salesman said "Oh, there's been a price adjustment on the car". The dealership had tacked on $5,000. We walked without a test drive. We had a similar experience with Harte Nissan in West Hartford when purchasing a Nissan Quest 25 years ago. Apparently skunks don't change their stripes.

George Harte Nissan after corresponding with General Sales Manager, Joe Tramuta. Inventory was limited in my local area and when I reached out to Joe, he was fast to reply, and super accommodating. We couldn’t be more happy with both the car (2021 Rogue) and the buying experience. Joe, and his team were awesome and it was the fastest and most efficient car buying process I have ever had, and I have had plenty. If the situation arises again, I honestly would not hesitate to take the 200mile round trip to buy from them again.

I returned back to George Harte, who I trust and feel comfortable with, They got me what I needed. 2019 compared to 2017 - less mileage, & better condition. After we decided `witch car was the best for me we met mr,Ken Criscione and finished up the process . He also was very nice and helpful . I walked in without an appointment to inquire about my lease coming due. I met with Elie Ghazal. He was very patient and I didn't fee as though he was trying to sell me a car. My credit was less than stellar. They got me into the car I wanted at the payment I requested. Test drover the car at the begging of the negotiations and they suggested that I test drive it again after the financing was complete but before I signed any documents to be sure I was happy with my choice of vehicle. Who does that! Additionally their service department is awesome, My wife brings her BMW there for servicing!! This is my third Nissan product and George Hart Nissan is the only dealership I will got to for purchase or service.

My experience here was amazing! I am not a particular fan of dealerships of any kind, however after reading multiple good reviews online and being in need of a lightly used new car, I headed for George Harte Nissan in West Haven. I was met at the door by Eli G. who listened to my needs, showed me several cars and the third one was the charm - exactly what I was looking for in the perfect price range for my budget. Eli went above and beyond to insure I was well taken care of through the process and even went so far as to check in with me a few days after driving my car off the lot to make sure all was well - wow, not even my doctor does that! After choosing my new car, Eli handed me over to Mike M., who not only took care of all aspects of my loan but was able to find one that was reasonable despite some financial challenges on my end. Jay was also great, really nice people all the way around. I was so impressed with my experience and so pleasantly surprised, I will never go anywhere else to buy a car!

Since I've had such great experience with George Harte in the past and I wanted to upgrade my current vehicle I of course went back to George Harte. Salesman Singe introduced himself as I was casually browsing the lot on a Wednesday night after work. He asked me what I was in the market for and we took an SUV for a spin. We chatted on the ride and came back for "the discussion" that we all dread. I was pleasantly surprised. After a nice conversation with sales manager Joe Tramuta I ended up leasing a beautiful white Sentra that I'm very pleased with. I wanted to give praise to a great management team and special praise to Salesperson Tim Blue who made my BMW X5 car buying experience a great one. I purchased the vehicle early this month as an out of towner (living in Alexandria, VA) and overall the dealership made life really easy with the processing of all paperwork and allowing an entire week for me to get my financing together, but most of the credit goes to Tim Blue who is not only a great salesperson, but also a great person who is honest and has great integrity. Tim went out of his way to make sure I understood how the car functioned and truthfully probably did more for me then what’s expected out of a salesperson. If I had to describe Tim in two words, it would be “Extremely Accomodating”. He also educated me on a few things about the car that I didn’t know about such as “run flats” and how they functioned. We stopped in to look at used Rogue's and Pathfinder's, and ended up buying a Murano instead. Tim Blue was great, no hard-sell, and very knowledgeable about all the vehicles we looked at. He responded very quickly to follow-up questions I called and texted about, and always responded when he said he would (no chasing him for answers). I had just had front breaks put on my 2015 Versa Note and I heard rubbing/grinding noise and without hesitation he scheduled an appointment for me to bring my car in have it checked. I spoke to Keri when I arrived as wonderful as ever and she and technician Leo took the time to discuss the situation I was experiencing. After several adjustments all is good. I'm a college student and I came in regarding my potential to purchase a vehicle. I walked in and I was greeted, but it was so busy, no one really paid me any attention and then all of sudden, this well and lucidly dressed man walks over, with a very memorable name: Beloved. He helped me so much and was an amazing salesman. He crunched a lot of numbers for me, but unfortunately I couldn't walk out with the specif car I wanted. I recently purchased a certified used Nissan Altima from Harte Nissan in West Haven. We found the car on the website of Harte Nissan in Hartford and called them to see if the car we were interested in could be shipped down to the West Haven dealership so that we could see it and test drive it. They gladly arranged this transfer and we drove the car and decided to purchase it. Because of my work schedule we made an appointment to take possession of the car on Tuesday, but a storm that day changed our plans. On Wednesday, our salesman Gregory Williams came in on his day off to facilitate our getting the car. The entire purchase process went smoothly from beginning to end. Mr. Williams was very helpful and explained all the details to us making the process a comfortable one. I would not hesitate to recommend Harte Nissan to anyone.
