Nanuet I recently visited Honda of Nanuet, NY, for a 2024 Honda Accord, drawn in by attractive online prices. The initial excitement was quickly tempered when my salesperson, Mehmet, surprised me with an unexpected $300 add-on, even after a full price was committed over email. I reluctantly agreed, as I needed a car for my commute. My 1 PM arrival kicked off what became a grueling six-and-a-half-hour ordeal. Mehmet wouldn't let me leave for snack/lunch, constantly assuring me things were "almost done & you cannot leave now." At 5 PM, I finally met finance manager Kamu, who, after hearing about my frustrating wait, vowed to speak with Mehmet and promised "free floor mats" for our troubles saying "please dont go bash us on google reviews, haha". It's been four months now, and those "free" floor mats are nowhere to be seen. All communication from the dealership has simply stopped. It's clear that once they have your money, their promises vanish into thin air. It's not the mats, it's about unfulfilled promises and a blatant disregard for customer time. Seems their word, unfortunately, means little once the sale is done. Stay away, not worth a long drive.

DCH Honda Nanuet had vehicle from 11/4/24 - 11/11/24 at Dealership site Catalytic Converter (REAR Bank) was replaced but now as of 12/4/24 Service Dept visit needs Replacement AGain Why wasn’t Right Front axle replaced as per DCH Honda Paramus and written communication to me as per Lithia Motors ? How come Catalytic Converter (rear bank) needs REPLACEMENT Again ONLY 1 month later ? What Type of After Market Parts are You Using ? How Come Axle was NEVER replaced ?

Dealer shop (08/17/2024). 1 week later (08/23/2024), I went to the local Toyota dealer for an oil change and I requested an inspection. And they gave me an almost $4000 bill for repairing serious safety issues. I went to the HONDA of Nanuet again and explained everything but they said "We don’t have a loaner car. So you should come after the reservation for your loaner car.” So, I have to come back because I need a car for the commute… Every day my family got scared because the loud noise came from the underbody…

Bradford are some of the worst individuals we've encountered in quite some time. Not only are they rude, disrespectful, liers, and some of the most condescending individuals we've ever met but they will flat out lie to you and do not care about you or wasting your time and money. They basically pressured and wasted our time with their lies from saying they know the laws, they are employees of the NYS DMV and that they wouldn't even process the paperwork for our purchase unless I cosigned for my wife even though her credit is 833 and she has a great job. This was totally sexist. She does NOT need a mans approval to buy a vehicle and they do not have the right or the place to tell customers what to do. Asked to speak to the GM in charge of the dealership over them and they refused and then proceeded to lie and said he was the GM. There was a lot more to it than just this but hard to put into words about their tone and attitude and more!

Bought a pre-owned truck at DCH Honda in Nanuet with a check. They cashed it. We added it our insurance. Were given the keys. Everything was done. Was about to leave and they tell us that they messed up and put the wrong vin # on my paperwork of another truck we never once looked at or expressed interest in. We were told it would be an additional $8k + if we wanted to purchase the truck that we had just paid for and again had the keys too. They couldn’t figure out how to refund us properly when we did not agree to pay the additional $. The manager never approached us, apologized or even offered to help us, he just avoided us. The best day I spoke to a manger who did not even apologize for dealerships error or wasting our time. I am very pro local businesses and support as many as I can by purchasing local. I’m floored by this experience.

car with Honda of Nanuet, NY. While it started off well the day of the purchase with my sales associate, Danny Almonte, it was all downhill after that. The next day, while driving my daughter to a soccer tournament in New Jersey, my wife called me extremely distressed because she had to pull over on the side of the road because the driver side wind shield wiper wasn't working. Thankfully my wife and daughter made it safely to the tournament after the storm had passed, but a broken part, on a "Certified" Pre-Owned Vehicle is completely unacceptable. Sadley, we had to learn about this while my wife was on the interstate, putting her and my daughter's life in danger as she couldn't see where she was driving. I called the dealership to ask if we could have a loaner or rental while waiting for the repair and we were told no. Unfortunately, my wife had to wait at the dealership for 4 hours for the car to be repaired. I tried calling the Pre-Owned Sales Manager, Darren Makofsky three times, about being reimbursed for the $165 we had to spend to fix our 1-day old, Certified Pre-Owned car. Sadly, he never bothered to call back. I will never consider going to DCH Honda of Nanuet again and would never recommend it to anyone. I am also rethinking ever buying a Honda again, instead going with a more reliable Toyota. -Marc Power

There is absolutely no excuse for a customer to arrive at the dealership at 7 a.m. for a simple coolant flush and spend 4 and a half hours there to be told we didn't have the coolant needed for that vehicle. Just about every customer was complaining regarding wait times while in the waiting lobby.

at Honda of Nanuet. It was a great experience, he was so helpful, and went over all the features a few times! We told him what we wanted, price and color preferences, and the very first car he showed us was perfect! And it wasn’t white! Really a great person who was so kind, even my daughter with Down syndrome was happy with his kindness and sense of humor! Will hope to deal with him again. Every one else we dealt with was kind, and warm too, all were very professional and easy to talk to. Great dealer and dealership.

First things first, Carlos; he’s simply amazing. Before I get into how I met him, I was looking for a specific vehicle that matches My taste, needs, and especially my wants. Did a quick late night search on car gurus and happened to find the exact car I was looking for at DCH, being surprised that I found the car, I scheduled an appointment to view and test drive the vehicle. I received a call the following day to confirm and went the same day. The moment I walked in Carlos greeted me, asked what can he assist me with, I told him and from there continued the journey of the best service I ever received from a dealership. After chatting for a bit, Carlos grabbed the keys and we went out for a drive, he explained every detail about the vehicle, every question I had, he answered to the fullest extent and didn’t spare any details. Once we were done with the test drive, we went back inside and discussed the business end. Every possible number that would have come up he spoke to Me about so there wasn’t any confusion, misunderstanding, nor the infamous hidden fees that pop up at other dealers. If I asked he answered. He sold Me the vehicle without Me even stating I was gonna purchase said vehicle, that’s how great he is at what he does. Two weeks later I returned, met Carlos at his desk and the magic began, the paperwork was a breeze, Carlos was everywhere handling business due to it being a super busy Saturday, but even though it was super busy, the most important thing is he still treated Me and My family as if we were the only customers in the building and that’s why he is such a great salesman. He’s patient, attentive, personable, understanding and non judgmental. I asked him questions while he was assisting another guest and as soon as he was finished with that guest, he came and assisted me with any and everything I needed. He treats all of his clients as if they’re the only one in the building, he makes you feel like a star from the moment you walk in through the door. And I definitely do feel like a star driving in My new Audi. And he even follows up with you after you purchase a vehicle or not. I had a minor speaker issue(music is really important to me lol) and he got on it right away, sent him a video of the issue and he called Me, scheduled a day for Me to come in and took care of it. I’m definitely recommending him to anyone and everyone I know who wants/needs to buy a car without any issues or headaches. He’s great! Also a big shoutout to James in finance. He explained all the questions I had as this was My first vehicle purchase.
