found exactly what we wanted at the Darlings in Ellsworth, that would be a 3 hour drive to test drive the vehicle. We were assigned Luke Boyle as our sales representative and he immediately contacted us to say he would transport the car to the Darlings in Augusta where it was much more convenient for us to view and test drive. I went in to trade in my Avenger which I purchased three years ago from PJ Davis. I loved the car but recently there were a few issues and I felt the need to go in to see if I could trade it in in order to get a lower payment and a smaller car. I surprisingly drove away in a brand new Trax. I never expected that! I was treated well, listened to and still get a lower payment and now have a car that I don't have to worry about. Thank you! We have bought our last 2 vehicles from Jason Hardison at Darling's (and prior to that, we purchased a motorcycle from him at his previous sales position). He is friendly and attentive, answers questions, but truly makes the process simple and easy. We go out to lunch in our preferred vehicle while he works on the paperwork part of things, then we come back, decide what we will do, and he makes it happen efficiently. Everyone there is friendly. The financing manager was very efficient with the paperwork. I was unable to drive my truck home the day I purchased because it had literally just come off the carrier and needed to be run through the shop and taken out of "transport mode", so Jason arranged to have a driver deliver the truck to my office and pick up my trade in the following business day. I have to say, the driver even went out of his way by coming back to my office after he noticed I had left a necklace in my traded vehicle. Great service, always!

I have had prior experience with Darlings Audi. The Bangor dealership had always met me with kindness and patience. When the family purchased two Ford cars, we wanted to use Darling's Ford in Bangor. However, a three hour round-trip drive was too much. I spoke to Mike Ellis at Darling's Chevrolet in Ellsworth about the distance issue. He told me that with a few exceptions, he could help us in Ellsworth. So we started using Darling's Chevrolet in Ellsworth and have never looked back. All service work is done in an atmosphere calm professionalism. We have had that rare experience that required a trip to Bangor but Mike helped get the car from Ellsworth to Bangor. The two dealerships work well together and the consumer wins.

I recently had a recall on my car. I was pleased that darling provided me with a rental car so I could get around. They fixed my car and had me on the road and going again as soon as they could.

The service department is great. I took the vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation but a couple of days before appointment the check engine light came on. Mike Ellis and his crew took care of everything and it was busy so had to wait a few hours but understanding why. The salesman there not so great. Don't listen when tell them how to spell name. I am still trying to get that straight with finance bank.

I had the pleasure of working with staff from Ellsworth and staff at the Bangor location. I contacted the Bangor office to inquire about a van that I saw online. They handed me over to Paul at the Ellsworth office since the van originated with them. Paul made sure the van was brought to Bangor for me since my daughter had just had surgery and a trip to Ellsworth was not in the cards. He also made the trip for me and met me at the Bangor location. He was kind, understanding, and calming. I haven't had the greatest experiences in the past with other dealers and salesman so buying a vehicle is beyond stressful for me. Paul listened to my needs as a customer without being pushy and allowed me to make up my own mind. The whole process was pretty painless and quick. There was an issue on the van that needed to be fixed before I could have it but Paul and the Ellsworth staff made sure that the issue was addressed the next day (which was a Saturday). I was surprised and very pleased that it was personally delivered to my house by Paul the next day! That is above and beyond service that should be appreciated and noted! If I find myself in the same situation someday I will seek him out as a salesman! Thank you!

I recommend Jason very highly! He brought the truck my wife and I really wanted, 2 hours, to Richmond. He brought all the paperwork with him and took our old truck back for trade. Took us 20 minutes and never had to step foot in a dealership. Jason Hardison is the way to go.

I didn’t pass my state inspection due to my tires, which only have 20,000 miles on them. Mike Ellis did what he could to work with Michelin and GM to work with me. He turned a usually unfavorable experience into a very tolerable one. He was very helpful and Kadence me feel confident in darlings because of his work.

For most of us dealing with car maintenance is about as much fun as going to the dentist. 1. I never write reviews. 2. Mike Ellis and his team are rock stars 3. What you get is specialized care from people who know Chevy's 4. Excellent communication 5. NO BS. When there is a glitch they tell it like it is and help you formalize a plan. 6. NO upselling. Not once was I pressured to do anything but consider options, pros, and cons. 7. Straight talk about money. Accurate estimates and bills that reflected the same or better than promised. All the above means less time/money wasted and yields a pleasant experience (if there is such a thing - like going to the Dentist). I've been blessed to not have a car payment for over decades and I drive cars that are 15-20 years old, which means I drive my cars and maintain them with the future in mind. I think you'll be happy too.

Service Manager Mike Ellis always goes above and beyond expectations. We bring our ‘04 Suburban in every year for annual maintenance and he is always spot on with what needs to be done and more importantly recommends preventative maintenance saving us big in the long run.

Recently took my car back to Darlings for some repair work and recalls. The repair in question was not a standard manufacture recall and needed some looking in to. They did all the digging for me and had my car in and out in no time. They were super friendly and professional, as well as personable. I was very impressed with my service.
