I told them I had a noise under the truck that I think was due to a bad timing chain, stated a check engine light, stated I knew what said check engine light was for and that I’d replace that part myself, and then said other items I thought could have been the culprit for the noise. I got my truck back after their “inspection” and was told my oil was slightly low and the replacement part for the check engine light. Didn’t know that your team wasn’t going to troubleshoot jack xxxx or even attempt to diagnose a reason for the noise. I guess troubleshooting skills are lackluster on your team since they likely spent 10 minutes looking at my truck before calling it a day. Service manager stated 22hrs to replace a timing chain, which is absurd, and couldn’t even justify why it would take that long. Your team is the reason people hate dealerships.
